The park

Is there a map of the park available?

Yes, there is a digital map of the park available here.

Is it allowed to smoke in Madurodam?

From 1/1/2020 smoking is not allowed anywhere else except on a designated part of the Taste of Holland terrace next to the entrance to the toilets (if you stand with your back to the taste of Holland, the right side). Smoking is not allowed on the terrace of the Panorama Café and on the outer ring and on the park itself.

What are the minimum ages for visiting the attractions?

 

Is it allowed to bring my dog ​​or other pet to Madurodam?

Dogs or other pets are not allowed to enter Madurodam (exception for guide and other assistance dogs).

Dog owners can leave their dog at one of our kennels free of charge. These are 1x1x1 meter pens. We have a limited number of spaces available, so please make a reservation in advance via our reception (+31 70 41 62 400).

Where can I buy a Madurodam subscription?

You can buy a Madurodam subscription at the counter.

Do I always have to make a reservation in advance?

Yes, that is one of the measures we are taking to avoid crowds. That is the government's instruction. It is therefore not possible to spontaneously visit Madurodam. You can make the reservation via our website: tickets.madurodam.nl/en/abonnee/tickets

As a subscriber, can I book multiple visits?

No, you can choose 1 day and 1 associated time of arrival per reservation.

What should I bring to Madurodam, is only my subscription pass sufficient?

When you visit, we scan both your subscription pass and your subscription ticket. This is proof of your reservation, which states the day of your visit and the timeslot. You have ordered the subscription ticket online. For an explanation, see the question "how can I make a reservation?".

How can I make a reservation?

You can make a reservation for a day and time of arrival via our website.

Can I use my Museum Card to get access to Madurodam?

No, unfortunately a Museum Card is not valid here.

How much does a companion of someone with a disability pay?

If someone with a disability is dependent on a companion, the companion will receive free access. Other family and group members will pay the normal entry price.

I already have a valid admission ticket (eg a ticket through a partner such as ANWB, Goede Doelenloterij or AD) and whether I have a discount coupon or (city) pass. Do I also have to make a reservation?

Yes, even if you already have a valid admission ticket, discount coupon or (city) pass, you must reserve a date and arrival time. You can make this reservation via our website.

I have a coupon, how do I get the discount if you can only buy tickets online?

Book a time of arrival on our website. You buy the ticket at the front office with the valid discount coupon. Note: without a coupon you will not get a discount. If you do not take the coupon with you, you will pay the full price. So always take your discount coupon / pass and your reservation of the time of arrival with you.

How much does a day ticket for Madurodam cost?

Prices vary per day. Please check the current prices here.

How many people is a ticket valid for?

The ticket is valid for one person.

How can I change my online ticket to another day or time?

Have you bought a day ticket with a variable price (Day Ticket 2020)? Then rebooking is not possible. You can cancel the ticket up to 2 weeks after purchase and place a new order.

Do you have another ticket such as a family ticket or flex ticket? Then rebooking is possible. Please contact us for this and we are happy to help you! Rebooking is possible until 3 January 2021 at the latest.

What does a flex ticket (without date) cost?

A flex ticket costs € 23.50. This ticket is more expensive than a day ticket because you can always rebook it to another day or time if you are unable or unable to come. This is not possible with a day ticket (with date). So you pay a little more for a little extra service!

How much does a family and friends ticket cost?

A family and friends ticket costs €75 and is valid for 4 guests. This ticket is valid for one day and is only available online.

How many people is the family and friends ticket for?

For 4 persons. When you visit, all 4 tickets are scanned, even if you come with fewer people. It is not possible to use them again at a later time.

Do I need to print the online ticket in advance?

If it's up to us, please don't print your ticket. You can show the barcode on the online ticket on your smartphone or tablet at the counter.

My ticket is illegible, what should I do?

Your ticket is your proof of payment for entry to the park. The unique barcode will be checked electronically with a scanner at the entrance. This must be legible. So it’s important that your ticket is not ripped, crumpled or folded. You are responsible for ensuring your barcode is legible

How do I know for sure my ticket will be accepted at the entrance

The barcode on your ticket, printed or not, can be easliy scanned. We do it every day. Be aware that you can use your ticket only once. Once the barcode is scanned it cannot be used a second time. If you experience any issues at the park please ask an employee for help. They are always happy to be of assistance.ze receptie.

Will my money be refunded if I have not used my ticket?

If you have bought the ticket on our website you ca get a refund within 14 days from date of purchase. Beyond these 14 days we don't offer any refunds unfortunately. In some cases you can still rebook your tickets. View here when that is possible and how it works.

Attractie De Hollandse Meesters

Waarom hebben jullie voor De Hollandse Meesters gekozen?

In Madurodam vertellen we verhalen die kenmerkend of onderscheidend zijn voor Nederland. Verhalen waarin pionieren en creativiteit of daadkracht centraal staan. In de attractie De Hollandse Meesters kun je ervaren hoe de schilders met hun eigen visie, passie en creativiteit meesterwerken hebben gemaakt. Tot op de dag van vandaag zijn ze wereldwijd bekend en geliefd. Als Madurodam vinden we dit het vertellen waard!

Waarom is voor deze 5 Hollandse Meesters gekozen?

Er zijn zoveel verschillende Hollandse Meesters dat we keuzes moesten maken. We wilden een mix tussen bekende en wat minder bekende schilders uit verschillende tijdperken. Ook vonden we het belangrijk dat er een vrouwelijke schilder opgenomen werd.  

Voor wie is de attractie De Hollandse Meesters bedoeld?

De Hollandse Meesters is voor jong én oud!  

Wanneer gaat De Hollandse Meesters open?

De opening van De Hollandse Meesters staat in de zomer van 2023 gepland. 

Is de attractie De Hollandse Meesters toegankelijk met een rolstoel?

Ja! Ook De Hollandse Meesters is toegankelijk met de rolstoel. 

Waarom is deze attractie in de plaats van ZGIO gekomen?

De Hollandse Meesters is een logische toevoeging aan het gebied waar ook het Hof van Nederland en Nieuw Amsterdam staan. Hierdoor wordt dit gedeelte van het park nog meer een geheel met een gelijksoortige uitstraling. Het spelelement in ZGIO was populair onder kinderen. Dit wordt dan ook een belangrijk onderdeel van De Hollandse Meesters. 

 

Waarom is de 3D-scanner gesloten?

Er komt een nieuwe attractie op de plek van Zo Groot is Oranje. De 3D-scanner wordt veilig in de opslag geplaatst, zolang we bezig zijn met de bouw van de nieuwe attractie.

Waar en wanneer is het weer mogelijk om een 3D-scan te maken?

Het is niet meer mogelijk om een 3D-versie van jezelf te maken. Er is in het park geen andere plek om een scan te maken. Wij gaan eerst aan de slag met de werkzaamheden rondom de nieuwe attractie, daarna worden de plannen m.b.t. de 3D-scanner gedeeld!



Parking

How much does parking at Maduroam cost?

Parking at Madurodam costs € 11. You can park your car during opening hours.

How many parking spaces are available at Madurodam?

At the Madurodam parking area there is room for appr. 450 cars.

At what time does the parking area close?

You are able to enter the parking area 1 hour prior to closing. You can leave the area not later than 1 hour after the park closes. View our opening hours here.

School trips, groups and corporate events

Can I visit Madurodam with a group?

Yes that is possible, you can make a reservation via www.madurodam.nl/nl/reserveren/groups

How big can my group be to visit Madurodam?

You can book up to 10 tickets at a time. You may come as an individual, couple or as a family, provided that these persons belong to the same household.

I want to organize a family day with a visit to Madurodam, is this possible?

Yes that is possible, you can make a reservation via www.madurodam.nl/nl/reserveren/groepen

Can I organize a children's party?

You can book a children's party with us if there are still enough available places and the composition of the group complies with the legal regulations. Please contact Guest & Park service.

Can I cancel or move my school trip?

Yes, that's possible. We can change your reservation to another date free of charge and on the same conditions. We are happy to help you with this. Mail us at info@madurodam.nl.
