A fun-filled day for everyone
At Madurodam, our goal is simple: to give you an unforgettable day out, full of wonder, adventure, and ease. That’s why we do everything we can to make our park accessible to as many people as possible. Curious how we do it? Discover all our facilities for visitors with disabilities and plan your visit full of fun.

Accessible for all!
Madurodam is for everyone. Even if you have a (mobility) impairment. From the upper ring, you can walk or roll right into the park via a gently sloping path. Want to enter the miniature city? You can, either through the souvenir shop or over the famous Erasmus Bridge.
Enjoying good food and drinks? No problem. Our restaurants Taste of Holland and the Panorama Café are both fully accessible for wheelchair users.
Toilets, parking, and transportation
Accessible toilets
You’ll find accessible toilets in both Taste of Holland and the Panorama Café. Everything at your convenience.
Parking
There are four designated parking spots for visitors with disabilities in our garage (two on the upper level, two on the lower level). It’s just 160 meters from there to the park entrance. A parking ticket costs €12.50 per day.
By public transport
From Tram Stop 9 (exit: 90 meters / boarding: 160 meters) or the ‘Madurodam’ bus stop (215 meters), it’s a short walk to the entrance.
Taxis and taxi vans
No hassle, taxis are allowed to drop visitors off right at the main entrance. Step out, and your day of wonder begins within 20 meters.
Worry-free enjoyment at Madurodam
Free Admission for Caregivers
Everyone is welcome. Visitors with disabilities pay the regular entrance fee. Is someone accompanying you as a caregiver? They can enter for free. All other guests need to purchase a regular ticket.
The ticket counter and payment terminals are easily accessible for wheelchair users.
Autipas and selective mutism card
Do you have an Autipas or a Selective Mutism Card? Feel free to show it to our staff at the entrance or ticket counter. We recognize these cards and will accommodate your needs wherever possible, so you can enjoy a calm, comfortable visit.
Service and guide dogs
Is your loyal four-legged helper coming along? Of course! Service and guide dogs are welcome throughout the park, including in the souvenir shop, restaurants, and indoor attractions.
Please make sure they wear a recognizable vest and carry proper identification. That way, we can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Wheelchairs available
Need to rest or have difficulty walking? No worries. We offer free wheelchairs. Want to be sure one is ready for you? Just give us a call in advance: +31 (0)70 41 62 400. Need help during your visit? That same number will connect you to assistance.
Indoor attractions accessibility
Our indoor attractions are designed so that everyone can participate. Using a wheelchair? Our attraction staff will gladly guide you to the best spot with a great view. These spots are clearly marked on the floor as well.
Visually Impaired?
For visitors with visual impairments, a Braille map of the park is available via Passend Lezen. Request it at www.passendlezen.nl and explore Madurodam by touch.
Interactive attractions: get involved!
