Frequently asked questions about reservering your visit

Do I need to print the online ticket in advance?

If it's up to us, please don't print your ticket. You can show the barcode on the online ticket on your smartphone or tablet at the counter.

I already have a valid admission ticket (eg a ticket through a partner such as ANWB, Goede Doelenloterij or AD) and whether I have a discount coupon or (city) pass. Do I also have to make a reservation?

No, it is not necessary of possible to make a reservation.

Can I use my Museum Card to get access to Madurodam?

No, unfortunately a Museum Card is not valid here.

Can I visit Madurodam with a (school)group?

Yes, that is possible! Check out the options for a group visit or school trip and make your reservation right away.

I have a discount voucher or city pass. Can I buy an online ticket?

By presenting or handing in your valid discount voucher or city pass, you can purchase a ticket at the Madurodam counter. This is not possible online.  


Reserving your visit is not necessary: our door is always open for you!

What age are the attractions suitable for?

Our attractions are a blast for everyone! For some attractions, there’s an age recommendation for kids from 6 years old.

  • The Wind Chaser: For adventurers of all ages. Note: You need to be at least 1 meter tall to join the fun!
  • The Dutch Masters: Suitable for all ages.
  • The Waterwolf: Recommended age: from 6 years.
  • New Amsterdam: Recommended age: from 6 years.
  • The Court of the Netherlands: Recommended age: from 6 years.
  • The Story of George: Recommended age: from 6 years.
  • The Flying Dutchman: For adventurers of all ages.

Are the attractions included with my entrance ticket?

Absolutely!

Every entrance ticket gives you access to all of our attractions (we have seven indoor attractions!), all playgrounds, and all interactive activities. So: there’s never a dull moment!
