Did you know that the Second Maasvlakte was built because the Port of Rotterdam wasn’t big enough for the newest, mega-sized container ships? It was a massive job: the equivalent of 160 Feijenoord Stadiums worth of sand was moved! How many trucks is that? 13 million! That’s more trucks than the entire city! Unbelievable, right?
