Park maintenance

A bit of cleaning, painting, and touching up...

At Madurodam, it’s all about the experience and we want everything to look its best! That’s why our skilled team works hard to keep the park in top condition. From painting a miniature house to refreshing a tulip field, maintenance is all part of the job.

Work in progress 📍

Good news: everything is running smoothly. That means just one thing: time for a day full of adventures at Madurodam!

🛠️  Please note: The Waterwolf will be temporarily closed for maintenance at Tuesday 23 June 2026 starting at 4:00 PM. We are working hard to complete this as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding and enjoy the rest of your visit.

In the meantime, you can enjoy all our other attractions and interaction. Take a look here

Possible temporary closure of The Flying Dutchman

Due to high temperatures, The Flying Dutchman may be temporarily closed at certain times during the day. This is to ensure the safety of our guests and the proper functioning of the equipment.

Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to stay cool throughout the park, including shaded areas, indoor attractions and other refreshing spots. We aim to keep any interruptions as short as possible.

Keeping things tidy

Since we’re open 365 days a year, we try to schedule maintenance during quieter times. That way, your visit remains fun, cheerful, and full of discoveries. 🔧
