Every day, 21 trains and trams run through Madurodam. Just like in real life, only smaller! The very first train in the Netherlands ran in 1839 between Amsterdam and Haarlem. That ride took 30 minutes back then. Today? Just 15 minutes! That saves some time!

And did you know that each train in Madurodam travels around 16,000 kilometers per year? That’s even more than the total number of cycling paths in the Netherlands – which adds up to about 15,000 kilometers!
